Intralub (Mould Release Masterbatch)

Description

INTRALUB is an internal mould release additive for use in injection moulding.
In the moulding process, during the cooling stage, the active ingredient of INTRALUB rapidly migrates to the surface of the article. It will reduce the adhesion of the plastic article to the metal surface, enabling easy release from the mould. INTRALUB will form a self renewing ultra thin film layer on the mould surface, giving it a permanent non-sticky surface.

Benefits when using INTRALUB in the injection process are :

  • Avoid surface defect and improved surface finish, resulting in less rejected plastic articles.
  • Uninterrupted running process due to simple and easy to use.
  • Consistent mold release effectivity.
  • Reduced machine wear.

Application

Different from conventional mould release by spraying, INTRALUB can be incorporated into the polymer mix before processing. It is available with various resin carriers.
INTRALUB can be tailor-made to suit the customer's requirement.
